Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to implement in-store merchandising plans, manage stock presentation, and ensure brand standards across multiple stores in the East London area. The role involves regular travel, planning, and reporting, with a hybrid work model.

The ideal candidate has experience in retail merchandising or visual display, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with store staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising or visual display.
• Strong merchandising principles and visual presentation knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time on the road and for administrative tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel in the East London area.
• Basic knowledge of retail sales and inventory management is advantageous.
• Enthusiasm for retail and product presentation.

Responsibilities

• Execute in-store merchandising plans and displays according to brand guidelines.
• Ensure products are displayed, stocked, and presented to maximize sales.
• Monitor inventory levels on shelves and communicate replenishment needs to store staff.
• Implement promotional displays and ensure timely execution of marketing initiatives.
• Maintain the appearance and organization of store shelves, fixtures, and displays.
• Report on merchandising effectiveness, sales performance of key products, and competitor activities observed in stores.
• Collaborate with store managers to ensure consistent application of merchandising standards.
• Assist in setting up new store layouts or remodels as required.
• Maintain a professional and positive brand image at all retail locations visited.
