Job summary

SAS Retail Services in Ladera Ranch, CA, part of Advantage Solutions, is seeking an in-store merchandiser to support retailers and shoppers. You will build displays, reset shelves, and help manage inventory to maximize sales opportunities.

You will also assist leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires, with opportunities for growth and advancement. Training is provided; experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years merchandising experience.
• Experience leading and training people.
• Able to interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
