Job summary

SAS Retail Services in Kailua, Hawaii, is seeking an in-store merchandising assistant to support retailers by building displays, rotating stock, and tracking inventory to maximize sales opportunities.

You will also assist leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires. No prior merchandising experience is required; training and team support are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented and able to interact with customers and management.
• 18 years or older with physical ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs.
• 1–2 years of merchandising experience and ability to train others.
• Ability to record work via smartphone/tablet after each shift.
• Strong customer service, teamwork and a results-driven attitude.

Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
