Job summary

SAS Retail Services is seeking an in-store merchandising support associate in Albany, Oregon. The role involves building displays, rotating stock, and ensuring shelves are stocked to maximize sales. You will also help with reporting, scheduling, onboarding new hires, and training teammates.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of merchandising experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided, and additional hours may be available.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years merchandising experience required.
• Experience leading and training people is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a retail setting.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills demanded.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
