Job summary

SAS Retail Services, Inc. is hiring for an in-store merchandising role in San Mateo, CA. You will support retailers by building displays, rotating stock, and tracking inventory while helping leadership with scheduling, training, and onboarding new hires.

Training is provided, and growth opportunities exist within the company. Applicants should be 18+, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, have reliable transportation, and possess strong customer service and teamwork skills.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
