Job summary

Advantage Solutions’ Retail Odyssey division is hiring an in-store merchandising associate for Vista, CA. You will build displays, rotate stock, and track inventory to help retailers maximize sales while supporting leadership with training and reporting.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; 18+ and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are needed. This role offers growth opportunities and a path to advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of merchandising experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership or training experience is a plus.
• Comfort with using a smartphone/tablet for recording work.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
