Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company is seeking an in-store merchandising teammate to help shape the shopping experience for customers. You will build displays, reset shelves, rotate products, and track inventory to maximize sales opportunities, while supporting leadership with reporting and onboarding new hires.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; you must be at least 18, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and able to travel to assigned stores.

Qualifications

• Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
• 1-2 years of merchandising experience; leadership and training experience a plus.
• Reliable transportation to work location.

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
