Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company is hiring for an in-store merchandising role in Medford, OR. You will build displays, reset shelves with product rotation, track inventory, and support leadership with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires. No prior experience required as training is provided.

Ideal candidates are 18+, comfortable with customer interactions, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years merchandising experience.
• Experience leading and training people.
• Able to use a smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You're 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
