Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company, part of Advantage Solutions, seeks an in-store merchandising helper in Washington's Burlington area to shape shopping experiences and connect shoppers with products.

You will build displays, reset shelves, track inventory, and assist with reporting, scheduling, and onboarding new hires. No prior experience required; training is provided, with opportunities to grow and take on additional hours.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing customer service orientation.
• 1–2 years of merchandising experience.
• Willing to lead and train others.
• Able to use smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift.
• Strong safety mindset in retail environments.

Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Youre 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
