Job Overview

As a Retail Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally, you may work with other products in the stores you service.

Salary and Schedule Details
  • Starting pay ranges from $16.00 to $16.20 depending on schedule and location.
  • This is a part-time position with a variable schedule during the workweek.
  • Weekly hours are approximately 13-15.5 hours.
  • Availability during the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
Responsibilities

Your role involves service work in Hallmark departments across various retail stores. The main components include:

  1. Daily Engagement: Restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory using a mobile device, communicating with supervisors, and interacting professionally with store staff and customers.
  2. Holiday Support: Supporting seasonal demand during holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, including working on holidays and weekends as needed.
  3. Department Resets: Participating in installations, fixture building, department relocations, and resets, often with advance notice.
  4. Team Support: Supporting other team members across territories as part of Hallmark's network of merchandisers.
Physical Requirements

This physically demanding role requires energy and urgency. You must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, and perform tasks like kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders.

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to operate a digital device for reading and communication.
  • Access to Wi-Fi and internet.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between stores.
