Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Onley, VA is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at customer retail locations, follow planograms, and maintain quality guidelines.

You will service multiple accounts, rotate stock, set displays, and build strong relationships with store personnel while adhering to safety and procedural standards.

The ideal candidate communicates clearly, works reliably with minimal supervision, and is capable of lifting up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills which include listening, speaking and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively to satisfy needs of a variety of customers with differing demands and expectations.
• Willingness to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably and independently with little daily supervision.
• Critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on shelves and in cold vaults according to procedures.
• Fills and merchandises coolers and displays on sales floor.
• Organizes back room cooler and stacks products by package and flavor.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests and opportunities.
