L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States. We now distribute over 40,000 items, including cosmetics, toys, school supplies, hosiery, hair accessories, OTC, HBA, and more, through 3 regional warehouse locations in Arkansas, New Jersey, and Nevada.

We are looking for a part-time Retail Merchandiser to service retail stores such as Albertson, Safeway, Cub Foods, Hy-Vee, and Kroger in various locations within the West, Central, and East Coast Regions.

Position Details

• Pay rate: Up to $17.00
• Hours: Up to 30+ Hours Weekly

Essential Job Functions

• Service store routes according to assigned call frequencies, working closely with the District Manager (DM)
• Place orders for inventory using a company tablet and scanner via Repsly software
• Follow specific store visit processes, including merchandising delivery, task documentation, photography, and stock maintenance
• Stay informed about sales, promotions, and policies regarding invoicing, exchanges, and returns
• Understand planograms and departmental footage, balancing sales and inventory control

Additional Responsibilities

• Maintain professional communication with store staff during visits
• Verify merchandise shipments upon receipt
• Keep display areas organized and clean
• Conduct store surveys and audits, including photography to address issues
• Perform physical tasks, frequently lifting 15 to 50 lbs
• Potential to service additional stores based on business needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.; retail or merchandising experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance
• Own vehicle required
• Clean motor vehicle record (≤3 violations in last 36 months)
• Smartphone or computer with internet access
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
