Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a field merchandiser to stock and rotate products in grocery and large-volume stores, set up displays, and manage backroom inventory. The role involves loading and moving cases, utilizing hand trucks and pallet jacks, and ensuring promotions are properly displayed.

Applicants should be 18+ with reliable transportation to multi-store locations and the ability to stand, bend, lift, and move product throughout shifts. Mileage reimbursement may be provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20–45 pounds.
• Experience working in retail or grocery store environments preferred.
• Ability to move products from backroom to sales floor and maintain neat stock areas.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location.
• Use equipment to transport products (e.g., U Boats, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts.
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition.
• Communicate store issues to store managers and Pepsi management.
• Build customer relationships at the store level.
• Comply with operating procedures (e.g., scan-in/scan-out, following designated route).
• Service accounts during designated times established by management.
• Deliver customer service and attentiveness to customer needs.
• Operate with minimal supervision.
