Overview

Retail Merchandiser

SPAR is growing, and we are expanding our Part-Time Retail Merchandiser team in your area. As a SPAR Merchandiser, you will be part of a leading company that provides excellent support in the industry. The merchandising work we offer is scheduled around our clients' preferred time windows rather than fixed hours, allowing for flexible scheduling. Your responsibilities may include servicing various products, conducting resets, product cut-ins, returns, POP placement, and other merchandising activities. We offer part-time, ongoing work with a variety of clients and retailers, with visits scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

What You’ll Do

• Meet with Site or Department Manager to review the objectives of your service call
• Locate and set up displays
• Remove old products from displays
• Complete full inventory scans
• Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms
• Maintain quality standards by following and enforcing procedures
• Travel between stores to manage setup, displays, and current promotions
• Complete call forms and upload photos of completed work

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising and/or retail
• Availability during weekday daytime hours
• Ability to understand and interpret plan-o-grams
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
• Internet access with an active email address
• Smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) for wireless reporting
• Ability to report work completion on the same day of service
• Reliable transportation; some travel involved
