Overview

Retail Merchandiser

SPAR is expanding its Part-Time Retail Merchandiser team in your area. As a SPAR Merchandiser, you will be part of a leading company that offers excellent support in the industry. The merchandising tasks are scheduled around the client’s preferred time windows, providing flexible hours. Your responsibilities include servicing various products, conducting resets, product cut-ins, returns, POP placement, and other merchandising activities. We offer part-time, ongoing work with a variety of clients and retailers for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits.

What You’ll Do:

• Meet with Site or Department Manager to review the objectives of your service call
• Locate displays and remove old products
• Complete full inventory and scanning
• Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms
• Maintain quality standards by following and enforcing procedures
• Travel between stores to manage setup, display, or current promotions (if applicable)
• Complete call reports and upload photos taken during visits

Qualifications:

• Merchandising and/or retail experience
• Availability during weekday daytime hours
• Ability to understand plan-o-grams
• Ability to carry and lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
• Internet access with an active email address
• Smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) for wireless reporting
• Report work completion on the same day of service
• Reliable transportation; some travel required
