Overview

Retail Merchandiser

SPAR is growing, and we are expanding our Part-Time Retail Merchandiser team in your area. As a SPAR Merchandiser, you will be with a leader in the industry that provides excellent support. Most merchandising work is scheduled around a client’s preferred time window rather than fixed hours, offering you a flexible schedule. Your responsibilities may include servicing various products, resets, product cut-ins, returns, POP placement, and other merchandising activities. We offer part-time, ongoing work servicing a variety of clients and retailers with weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly visits.

What You’ll Do

• Meet with Site or Department Manager (as applicable) to review service objectives
• Locate displays
• Remove old products from displays
• Complete full inventory and scanning
• Validate product stocking, merchandising, and display systems using planograms
• Maintain quality standards by following and enforcing procedures
• Travel between stores to manage setup, display, or current promotions (if required)
• Complete call forms and upload photos taken during service

Qualifications

• Merchandising and/or retail experience
• Availability during weekday daytime hours
• Ability to understand plan-o-grams
• Ability to carry and lift up to 40 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
• Internet access with an active email address
• Smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) for wireless reporting
• Ability to report work completion on the same day as service
• Reliable transportation; some travel involved
