Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is hiring a full-time Retail Membership Sales Specialist at our Brick, NJ location. You will sell AAA memberships, upsell upgrades, and drive member engagement through in-store and outbound activities. You will maintain records of leads and interactions, serving as the primary resource for membership inquiries.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of sales and customer service experience.
• Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency with computers and multiple websites/programs.

Responsibilities

• Sell and process new AAA memberships, upsell and cross-sell upgrades/add-ons.
• Engage members in-store, respond to inquiries, and conduct outbound follow-ups.
• Document all leads/interactions for future reference.
• Serve as the go-to person in-store for membership-related inquiries and support.
• Backup cashiering and related store activities as needed.

Effectively welcome new members, present enticing promotions, and initiate discussions about upgrade opportunities.Ensure all leads and interactions are accurately documented, maintaining clear records for future reference.Serve as the go-to person in the store for all membership-related inquiries, providing expert guidance and support to customersServe as backup by assisting in the functions of Cashiering, Tag and Title, and IDEMIA services if applicable.What you will need:Bring a minimum of three (3) years of sales and customer service experience to the table, demonstrating your ability to drive results and exceed expectations.Showcase effective written and oral communication skills, essential for engaging customers and articulating the value of AAA memberships.Navigate multiple websites and programs with ease, demonstrating proficiency in computer skills essential for multitasking in a fast-paced retail environment.Notary Public designation or willingness to obtain with 6 months of employment.High school diploma or equivalent requiredSatisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings.
