Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director in Training to help drive store performance, supervise Tanning Consultants, and uphold exceptional client service. You will lead by example in daily operations, coaching staff, and meeting productivity goals while maintaining a clean, welcoming salon environment.

This role requires strong leadership, sales mindset, and the ability to work a 5-day schedule including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Management or sales experience required.
• Beauty industry or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor.
• Team-building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and immaculate salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Help to maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights & weekends.
• Work a 5-day workweek with approximately 35-45 hours per week, depending on hourly or salary status.

Pay

Earn up to $20.00/hr!

Base Pay – $15.00/hr or more + performance and store bonuses = average $20.00/hr.

Job Summary

The Salon Director in Training helps drive store performance, fosters superior client service, and maintains operational excellence to meet or exceed established productivity goals. This individual will manage and supervise Tanning Consultants to achieve company goals and will lead by example in all company operations. Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy boxes.
• Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
• Ability to perform salon cleaning functions including dusting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, etc.
