Sun Tan City is seeking a Retail Manager in Training in Kentucky to help lead daily salon operations and coach team members. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and supporting store performance in a fast-paced setting.

About the Role

As a Retail Manager in Training, you’ll help lead daily salon operations, coach team members, deliver excellent customer service, and support store performance. You’ll create a positive, high‑energy salon environment where clients feel welcomed and team members are supported.

What You’ll Do

• Help manage the day‑to‑day operations of the salon in a fast‑paced environment.
• Lead by example in client service, sales performance, and professionalism.

• Coach, train, and give feedback to improve team performance.

• Assist the Salon Director in managing revenue, expenses, staffing, and labor costs.
• Support proper scheduling and coverage to maximize productivity and customer service.
• Be available to work evenings and weekends as needed for management coverage.

Schedule & Availability

This is a full‑time opportunity. Candidates should expect to work approximately 35–45 hours per week, with nights, Saturdays, and Sundays required for management coverage.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
• Lift or help lift items and heavier boxes.
• Bend down to pick up trash, towels, and other items from the floor.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing.
• Work independently and alone during some shifts as business needs require.
