POSITION SUMMARY:

This Retail Manager position for our Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s CLUB program is a unique role in our retail locations. The CLUB is a comprehensive customer loyalty program that connects customers with our brand and the outdoors. As a salaried leadership team member, your responsibilities include overseeing and driving the CLUB credit program and customer experience culture storewide, as well as supporting the team during Manager on Duty shifts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Customer Experience
  • Exemplify outstanding CLUB Customer Service standards, promoting benefits and visibility
  • Address customer questions and develop strategies to enhance their experience
  • Serve as the CLUB liaison, ensuring team knowledge of current promotions
  • Coordinate internal and external events aligned with brand standards
Leadership and Training
  • Build relationships with leadership and outfitters to influence and motivate
  • Lead by example and serve as a role model
  • Conduct CLUB 101 training for new Outfitters
  • Implement recognition programs to foster a CLUB culture
Talent Development
  • Develop strategies for recruiting and retaining talent
  • Foster a positive, development-focused culture
  • Provide coaching and feedback for performance improvement
Compliance and Analytics
  • Monitor and analyze CLUB metrics, develop corrective actions
  • Ensure operational and compliance standards are met
  • Manage CLUB instant issuance and inventory processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-4+ years in sales, management, or leadership
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Financial calculation skills
  • Problem-solving and data analysis
  • Report writing and communication
  • Presentation skills
  • Proficiency with PC software and POS systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Team management experience
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • Travel as needed for training and events
  • Physical ability to perform various tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Work in retail environment, including outdoor conditions
