POSITION SUMMARY:

This Retail Manager position for our Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s CLUB program is a unique role in our retail locations. The CLUB is a comprehensive customer loyalty program that enhances customer connection with our brand and the outdoors. As a salaried member of the leadership team, your responsibilities include overseeing and driving the CLUB credit program and customer experience culture throughout the store, as well as supporting the team during Manager on Duty shifts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Customer Experience:

  • Exemplify outstanding CLUB Customer Service standards, promoting CLUB benefits and savings programs
  • Address customer questions and develop strategies to enhance the CLUB experience
  • Serve as the primary CLUB liaison, ensuring team knowledge of promotions
  • Coordinate and execute onsite and offsite CLUB events

Leadership and Training:

  • Build relationships with leaders and outfitters to influence and motivate
  • Lead by example and serve as a coach
  • Conduct CLUB 101 training for new Outfitters
  • Implement recognition initiatives to foster a CLUB culture

Talent Development:

  • Develop strategies for recruiting and retaining talented Outfitters
  • Promote a positive, development-focused culture
  • Provide feedback and coaching for improvement

Compliance & Analytics:

  • Design strategies to meet CLUB metrics and analyze performance reports
  • Ensure compliance with operational and promotional programs
  • Manage CLUB instant issuance and related inventory procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4+ years in sales, management, or leadership
  • Financial and report analysis skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC software and POS systems

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel as needed for training and events
  • Physical ability to perform essential functions, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors in various temperatures
  • Work environment is retail/store setting
