Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Retail Manager for full-time duties at the Ohio Turnpike Blue Heron Hardee's in Genoa, OH. The role requires hands-on leadership across multiple retail dining locations with emphasis on service quality, merchandising and cost controls.

The ideal candidate will have franchised quick-service operations experience, strong team leadership, and solid communication skills. ServSafe is preferred; MS Office and POS systems proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in franchised quick service restaurant operations, preferably multi-unit.
• Proven leadership of teams and operations in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong customer service and written/spoken communication skills.
• ServSafe certification preferred or in progress; familiarity with POS systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage multiple retail dining locations and service teams with a hands-on approach.
• Provide leadership, driving quality and efficiency in customer service, food production, menu development, product selection, quality control, sanitation, housekeeping, merchandising, marketing and promotions.
• Manage inventory control, product forecasting and food and supplies ordering.
• Handle cash, operate and troubleshoot POS systems; train others to use the system.
• Ensure proper merchandising and marketing materials within each location.
• Monitor procedures, supervise staff and provide training development as needed.
• Ensure excellent customer service in each retail location.
• Comply with AVI policies and maintain a safe environment for clients, customers and team members.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill the role of Retail Manager, Full-time at the Ohio Turnpike Blue Heron Hardee's in Genoa, OH. Shifts vary and includes weekends and holidays as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Effectively manage multiple retail dining locations and service teams with a hands-on approach
• Provide leadership, driving quality and efficiency in the areas of customer service, food production, menu development, product selection, quality control, sanitation, housekeeping, merchandising, marketing and promotions
• Manage inventory control, product forecasting and food and supplies ordering
• Handle cash appropriately and operate and troubleshoot the POS system as needed; train others to operate the system and learn how to navigate the POS system
• Ensure proper merchandising and marketing materials within each retail location
• Monitor operating procedures, supervise staff and provide training development as needed
• Ensure excellent customer service in each retail food location
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures; maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and team members

Requirements

• Background inclusive of franchised quick service restaurant operations, preferably in a multi-unit capacity
• Successful team leadership experience
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
• ServSafe certification preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of POS systems
