Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Lead Food Court Operations professional in New Jersey to manage inventory, ordering, payroll, scheduling, and staff development. You will build an engaged team while delivering outstanding customer service and occasionally support weekend events.

You will drive food quality, safety, cost control, and vendor partnerships to enhance guest experiences. The role focuses on hands-on leadership, people management, performance evaluation, and resource deployment.

Qualifications

• High school/GED or equivalent, or Associate’s degree.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and considered.
• 0-3 years management/related experience.

Job description

Drive menu innovation, food quality, and food safety while ensuring compliance with health standards. Monitor costs, improve efficiency, and partner with culinary and campus teams to enhance the guest experience.

About The Job

This role puts you at the center of retail operations, where your ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive customer satisfaction will be key to success. You’ll play a hands‑on role in shaping both team performance and customer experience.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted‑line or matrixed management.

Pay Range: $61710 per year - $79860 per year
