Job summary

Blain’s Farm & Fleet is seeking candidates for its Retail Management Training Program in Verona, WI. You will undergo hands-on training across store operations and shadow Store Management to develop leadership skills.

Program participants will learn HR processes, pricing, merchandising, and customer service excellence while progressing through store departments. Relocation assistance is available, with a path toward a full-time leadership role.

Qualifications

Completion of the Manager Trainee Program or equivalent
Relocation assistance available
Retail or customer service experience preferred
Flexibility to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities

Shadow, learn, assist, and support Store Management with the running of a Blain’s Farm and Fleet store
Learn basics of progressive disciplinary and performance improvements
Communicate with store associates and management
Learn the pillars of the Associate Recognition program (G.R.O.W.)
Fulfill duties of various store level associate positions
Learn, become familiar, and participate within each store department and the responsibilities associated with each
Perform morning walk-throughs of the entire store
Learn store HR processes and learn about the role of the Training Coordinator
Learn and participate in the Pricing Team activities including ad prep and price changes
Learn and participate in store support activities including merchandise receiving and inventory control
Learn and assist with the associate interviewing process
