Love's Travel Stops offers an 11-week Retail Management Internship designed to provide hands-on experience in managing high-volume travel centers, including food service and truck care. Interns work with seasoned leaders to learn facility operations, team management, and exceptional customer service, helping drivers and travelers get back on the road quickly.

This program is designed to set interns on a path toward a rewarding career with Love's.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program pursuing a related degree.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
• Develop business acumen by learning to drive sales, manage costs, and support profitability.
• Learn team leadership, staffing, and employee development practices.
• Gain experience delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
• Understand and enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
• Collaborate on a cross-functional project with interns and leaders across departments.
