Job summary

Meijer in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Team Member to support store operations, customer service and a variety of retail tasks. You’ll help with carts, shelving, stocking, and ensuring a clean, welcoming store environment.

You will engage with customers, assist the service desk and departments, and contribute to a positive shopping experience while learning about retail operations and safety, with growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Able to lift and move products and operate basic equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
