Job summary

Boscov's Department Store, LLC is seeking a Loss Prevention Detective to join our retail operations team and protect assets in a dynamic store setting. Use your experience to deter theft and maintain store safety while supporting sales and customer service.

You will patrol, monitor, and respond to incidents, collaborate with store staff and police as needed, and participate in audits, opening/closing, and inspections.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Prior experience in retail loss prevention is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guard, patrol, and monitor premises to prevent theft or rule infractions.
• Provide loss prevention support through policies and personal involvement.

• Conduct store opening and closing procedures.
• Perform safety audits, safety, and fire prevention inspections.
• Answer alarm responses.

Job Responsibilities

As a Loss Prevention Detective, you will perform loss prevention as part of the retail operations team. You will be responsible for guarding, patrolling, and monitoring premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.

• Providing loss prevention support and awareness through policies, procedures, and personal involvement
• Providing surveillance and assisting police with apprehensions of shoplifters

• Prior experience in retail loss prevention, preferred
