Job summary

IKEA USA is seeking a Loss Prevention/Safety Associate to help keep people and property safe in our stores. You will ensure the safety and security of staff and customers, complete safety, security, and compliance audits and trainings, and maintain critical equipment such as alarms, radios and security systems.

You’ll report incidents, coordinate emergency responses from burglar and fire alarms to active shooter scenarios, and work within local regulations to protect the IKEA brand while

Qualifications

• 1 year work experience.
• Retail experience in safety, security, or loss prevention preferred.
• Candidates in Oregon, New York, and St. Louis, MO, must be eligible to obtain a security guard license.

Qualifications

• 1 year work experience.
• Retail experience in safety, security, or loss prevention preferred.
• Candidates in Oregon, New York, and St. Louis, MO, must be eligible to obtain a security guard license as required by applicable local law. Obtaining the security guard license is a required condition of employment for this role.
