Job summary

Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation is seeking a Retail Associate to join the stores team. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and handling POS transactions in a busy retail environment.

You will perform inventory counts, maintain shelves, and support loss prevention efforts while ensuring responsible alcohol sales and attending product knowledge seminars. This position is on-site with typical retail hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• High School graduation.
• Must be physically able to perform duties (physical capability testing may be required).
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
• Any combination of training and experience acceptable to the Corporation.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service through the SERVE process.
• Operate a point of sale system.
• Perform inventory control by receiving inventory, maintaining product shelving and completing inventory counts.
• Maintain store security and perform loss prevention activities.
• Ensure social responsibility by preventing the sale of alcoholic beverages to prohibited individuals.
• Fill custom orders.
• Attend product knowledge seminars.
• Other related duties.
