Job summary

Shelby Design Center, located in Shelby Township, Michigan, is seeking a full-time retail lighting sales associate. This role offers an hourly pay plus commission with an annual salary range of $40,000.00 to $65,000.00. Ideal candidates will have sales experience and knowledge in lighting sales, although training is available for motivated individuals. About the Role

The Shelby Design Center is seeking a highly motivated, friendly and outgoing full‑time retail lighting sales associate. Experience in lighting is preferred but not necessary.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay plus commission. Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits available after 60 days of employment. Life insurance, Short‑term & Long‑term disability and Simple IRA contribution match also available after the eligibility period.

Hours

Hours will include some evenings and weekends. One weekly day off. Closed on holidays. Retail hours: Monday‑Friday 9 am‑7 pm, Saturday 9 am‑5 pm, Sunday 12 pm‑5 pm.

Qualifications

We are a retail Design Center that specializes in residential lighting and offers flooring, cabinets, countertops, window treatments, wallpaper, and home decor. Sales experience and knowledge in lighting sales is preferred, but we are willing to train. Must have a valid driver’s license. Background check required.
