Job summary

Tailwind Concessions LLC is seeking a Retail Lead to guide an airport retail team and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will lead, train, and motivate a group of associates, ensuring accurate transactions and a welcoming atmosphere for travelers.

Responsibilities include supervising daily store operations, inventory, pricing accuracy, and coaching cashiers to meet sales goals while upholding policies and delivering outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience with ordering and working with multiple vendors.
• Proven experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency with POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of retail associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Participate and compile monthly inventories.
• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with their purchases.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
• Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
• Process returns and exchanges following company policies.
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Train and develop the retail cashiers to ensure they are meeting goals.
• Organize initial deliveries, unpacking of boxes, putting away merchandise, organizing items, scan, price, and barcode new item's along with Gift shop staff.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Hourly

• Train and develop the retail cashiers to ensure they are meeting goals
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Organize initial deliveries, unpacking of boxes, putting away merchandise, organizing items, scan, price, and barcode new item's along with Gift shop staff. Report missing delivery items ASAP to the General Manager
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass background check to receive an airport badge
• Must be able to lift 25-30lbs
• Reliable transportation
• 1-2 years of retail supervisory experience
