Job summary

SalonCentric, a premier wholesale distributor of salon pro brands, is seeking a Part Time Key Holder in Edison, NJ. You will assist customers, promote products, and support store operations to ensure a positive client experience.

As a Key Holder, you will help manage opening/closing duties, stock replenishment, and assist with training new team members. Weekend availability is required; prior retail experience is preferred, along with strong communication and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to use point of sale system; SAP experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand/walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Wow the customer – deliver exceptional service to Salon professionals.
• Sell premium beauty brands and educate customers on promotions and events; replenish merchandise; participate in inventories; maintain store appearance; process sales and returns.
• Gain essential product knowledge and share beauty trends with customers.
• Collaborate with team to achieve goals and priorities.
• Grow and develop with opportunities within SalonCentric and L’Oréal USA.
• Act with integrity in all interactions.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Retail or related experience strongly preferred
• Basic reading and math skills
• Ability to use computerized point of sale system, SAP experience preferred
• Must be able to work weekends as availability guidelines require
• 18 years of age and High School Diploma or equivalent GED, preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk about the store throughout scheduled shift
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full time, permanent, ongoing basis is required. No immigration support/sponsorship offered for this role.

Salary Range

From: $16.30

To: $18.30
