Job summary

BevMo! by Gopuff seeks a Key Holder to join our Retail Operations team. You will open and close the store, assist during high-volume periods, and support new employees while delivering excellent customer service and driving sales.

You will greet customers, know our products, manage inventory tasks, process cash transactions, and help maintain store standards across floors and back-room areas. The role requires weekend/evening availability and a hands-on, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• Available for fluid schedules; able to work peak hours, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and assist in the absence of management.

Job description

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder for our Retail Operations team. This position is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing other duties in the absence of management. A Key Holder will assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees, providing excellent customer service while driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of the products and services
• Arrive early to open the store and leave late to close the store
• Will assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees
• Knowledge of in house products to provide customers with recommendations
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as restocking merchandise, conducting inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies.
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits.
• Operating scanners, cash registers, and other electronics
• Follow proper age verification policies
• Ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a customer receipt
• Processing refunds and exchanges
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including conducting bag checks and ensuring adherence to security procedures.
• Store cleanliness and assist in maintaining standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms
• Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards

Qualifications

Pay

• Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing, and pay may vary depending on your location. Compensation for U.S. locations is based on a cost-of-labor index for that geographic area.
• Lake Forest, CA: USD $17.65/hr
• The salary range above reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
