Job description

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Part Time Key Holder for our Retail Operations team. This position is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing other duties in the absence of management. A Key Holder will assist the store during high volume periods and support new employees, providing excellent customer service while driving sales.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them about products and services.
  • Open the store early and close it late, assisting during high volume periods.
  • Support new employees and ensure smooth store operations.
  • Have knowledge of in-house products to recommend to customers.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking, conducting counts, and identifying discrepancies.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including opening/closing tills, cash counting, and deposits.
  • Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
  • Follow age verification policies.
  • Ensure pricing and quantities are accurate and provide receipts.
  • Process refunds and exchanges.
  • Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including bag checks and security adherence.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and standards across all areas.
  • Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or equivalent.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and cash handling proficiency.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Pay:
  • Compensation varies based on market and location, aligned with local labor costs.
  • Huntington Beach, CA Salary Range: USD $17.25/hr.
