Job description

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Part Time Key Holder for our Retail Operations team. This position is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing other duties in the absence of management. A Key Holder will assist the store during high volume periods and support new employees, providing excellent customer service while driving sales.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers, informing them of products and services.
  • Arrive early to open the store and leave late to close the store.
  • Assist the store during high volume periods and support new employees.
  • Know in-house products to recommend to customers.
  • Assist with inventory management, including restocking, counting, and discrepancy identification.
  • Process cash transactions accurately, including opening/closing tills, cash counting, and deposits.
  • Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
  • Follow proper age verification policies.
  • Ensure prices and quantities are accurate and provide receipts.
  • Handle refunds and exchanges.
  • Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including bag checks and security adherence.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and standards on the sales floor, stockroom, lockers, and bathrooms.
  • Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or similar fields.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and cash handling proficiency.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
Pay:
  • Compensation varies based on location and market conditions.
  • Camarillo, CA Salary Range: USD $17.25/hour
  • Starting pay depends on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions.
