BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder for our Retail Operations team. This role opens and closes the store, supports during high-volume periods, and assists new employees while delivering excellent customer service to drive sales.

The Key Holder will know in-house products, manage inventory, handle cash, and ensure security. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with 1+ years of leadership in retail and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 1+ years leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent.
• Able to work fluid schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in cash handling.
• Team-oriented mentality and customer-focused approach.
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and informing them of products and services.
• Open the store in the morning and close it at night.
• Support for new employees and during peak store volume.
• Know in-house products to make customer recommendations.
• Assist with inventory tasks such as restocking and counts.
• Process cash transactions, open/close tills, and deposits.
• Operate scanners, cash registers, and other electronics.
• Follow age verification policies and provide receipts.
• Process refunds and exchanges and minimize loss.
• Monitor sales floor to prevent theft and ensure security procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms.
• Train new employees on procedures and product knowledge.

BevMo! by Gopuff is seeking a Key Holder for our Retail Operations team. This position is responsible for opening and closing the store and performing other duties in the absence of management. A Key Holder will assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees, providing excellent customer service while driving sales.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and establishing rapport with customers while informing them of the products and services
• Arrive early to open the store and leave late to close the store
• Will assist the store in periods of high volume and provide support for new employees
• Knowledge of in house products to provide customers with recommendations
• Assist with inventory management tasks such as restocking merchandise, conducting inventory counts, and identifying discrepancies.
• Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including opening and closing tills, counting cash, and preparing deposits.
• Operating scanners, cash registers, and other electronics
• Follow proper age verification policies
• Ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a customer receipt
• Processing refunds and exchanges
• Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and minimize loss, including conducting bag checks and ensuring adherence to security procedures.
• Store cleanliness and assist in maintaining standards on the sales floor, stock room, lockers, and bathrooms
• Train new employees on store procedures, product knowledge, and customer service standards

Pay:

• Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. Compensation for U.S. locations is based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area.
• Bakersfield, CA: USD $17.65
• The salary range above reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
