The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Manager on Duty to help create a positive shopping environment at our United States locations. You will oversee store operations, coach Associates, and ensure adherence to policies while maintaining safety and efficiency.

This role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced retail setting. Responsibilities include managing coverage, coaching teams, and partnering with management on training needs.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year retail experience and at least 6 months in a leadership role.
• Able to work nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to coach and delegate to multiple associates.
• Knowledge of store merchandise flow and standard software.

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience

• Acts as Manager on Duty adhering to company policy and procedure
• Ensures store team performs tasks and activities in accordance with store plan; prioritizes as needed
• Addresses immediate customer service issues and provides appropriate coaching to Associates
• Exercises discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers
• Maintains accurate Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
• Ensures Associates adhere to all operational procedures
• Ensures opening/closing procedures are executed according to company guidelines
• Communicates accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities; provides progress updates
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Provides feedback, recognition and coaching to Associates
• Partners with Management on Associate training needs to increase effectiveness
• Ensures adherence to all labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
