Job summary

City and Stars is seeking a Retail & Permanent Jewelry Stylist to join our Austin team. You will help customers on the sales floor and at pop-ups, building relationships and sharing trends in fashion and jewelry.

You may train on our charm bar services and assist with online orders and in-store pickups. The role emphasizes a friendly, energetic, and dependable presence, with opportunities to earn commission, bonuses, and tips.

WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING FOR WEDNESDAY-SUNDAY AVAILABILITY

This isn'tyour typical sales job. Our Retail & Jewelry Stylist are the face of our brand. As a Retail & Jewelry Stylist for City and Stars, you will form meaningful relationships with new and current customers in-store and at pop-ups, with the opportunity tocontribute more and train on our newest services: the charm bar!

We are seeking an outgoing, energetic, and dependable retail sales associate to join our growing team! Our ideal Retail & Permanent Jewelry Stylist isa dynamic individual who is passionate aboutcurrent digital, fashion, and jewelry trends, andcan connect with people on the sales floor and through community events!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist customers in-store with styling
• Operatetransactions through our Point of Sale system and cash register
• Perform charm bar services, including styling, education, assembly, and repairs
• Prepare online orders for in-store pickup and shipment
• Assist online customers with productinfo, orders, and try-ons
• Maintain store cleanliness and provide an overall positiveenvironmentfor customers
• Process and merchandise new inventory, as needed

KEY QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Basic understanding of sales and customer service
• Stay up-to-date with current inventory and product knowledge, as well as trends in the industry
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability tomulti-taskin a fast-paced environment with limited/no mistakes
• Goal-oriented and self-motivated, able to work independently andprioritize tasks
• Flexible schedule - available up to 15 hours per week, including holidays and weekends
• Able to maneuver around sales floor and lift up to 40 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be 18 years or older with reliable transportation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior retail sales experience
• Understanding of different types of metal & fine/demi-fine jewelry
• Knowledge of POS systems
• Comfortable in front of the camera
