Job summary

Micro Center in the United States is seeking a Retail Inventory Specialist to blend customer service, fulfillment, merchandising, and inventory support, ensuring a well-organized shopping environment.

You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team, contribute to operational excellence, and help ensure customers receive products and service they expect. The pay range is $18.50-20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service mindset and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift 11–100 lbs.
• Able to operate pallet jacks, dollies, and flatbed carts.

Responsibilities

• Execute web order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely completion and a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including pick‑pack orders, backhauls, and return‑to‑vendor merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked work area through cycle counts, replenishment, and merchandising support.
• Support store operations by promoting loss prevention awareness and assisting with physical inventory preparation and execution.
• Assist with floor set changes, displays, and merchandising resets.
• Provide customer support, including carry‑in and carry‑out assistance as needed.
• Ensure that customer service standards are met and that difficult customer situations are handled courteously and professionally.
• Participate in store opening and closing procedures.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

About the Role

• Effective communication skills and the ability to assist multiple customers in a fast‑paced environment
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Requires standing and walking throughout the store for the duration of each shift
• Requires frequent manual lifting and carrying of objects weighing 11–100 lbs to load, unload, and shelf products
• Requires the frequent use of manual tools, including pallet jacks, dollies, and flatbed carts, as well as the ability to navigate uneven ground and climb ladders
