ABOUT THE ROLE

As Retail Inventory Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the Market Center's product inventory, purchasing, receiving, and warehouse operations. Your leadership will drive distribution efficiency through established operational policies and procedures. You'll manage and develop your warehouse team through coaching, performance management, and mentorship while ensuring prompt and complete service to both internal and external partners. Financial responsibility includes managing key metrics, identifying improvement opportunities, and executing action plans to meet objectives. You'll also champion safety leadership throughout the facility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct inbound and outbound inventories of merchandise, equipment, and supplies to maximize storage efficiency and product utilization


• Track, reconcile, and order product inventories to manage stock levels, prevent obsolescence, and maintain appropriate weeks-on-hand calculations that fulfill client needs


• Communicate with managers and frontline staff regarding inventory voids, delivery delays, and product changes affecting client orders, proposing alternative solutions as needed


• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered products and equipment


• Oversee warehouse workforce activities including receiving, stocking, rotating, and pulling products while enforcing safe work practices


• Participate in warehouse team hiring decisions and lead recruitment efforts


• Train, coach, and manage performance for all team members


• Monitor daily workflow and ensure proper inventory allocation for scheduled routes
