Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Retail Inventory Control Specialist to manage all inbound/outbound inventory and ensure shelves are stocked to drive sales. You will guarantee accurate flow of merchandise, proper documentation, and organized stock rooms while adhering to loss-prevention standards.

You will train the sales team on inventory processes and maintain high productivity with UPH targets, contributing to a positive customer experience and store goals.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Foster a service and selling culture; exceed expectations to build customer relationships.
• Process all incoming/outbound inventory with accuracy.
• Verify deliveries are compliant and accurate to company standards.
• Prepare merchandise for selling floor; comply with ticketing and signage guidelines.
• Place EAS tags on merchandise before moving to the sales floor.
• Input freight information accurately in the systems.
• Execute RTVs, orders, transfers, re-tickets or markdowns per policies.
• Educate and coach sales team on inventory control processes.
• Maintain productivity to meet UPH targets.
• Keep stock room neat and compliant with guidelines.
