Job summary

Comcast Advertising seeks an intern to support visual merchandising and buying projects and assist the Retail team. You’ll contribute to game-night operations and events at the Xfinity Mobile Arena, helping with displays, stock, and online orders.

You’ll coordinate with vendors and campus teams, assist with reports, and help prepare graphics and approvals for sales and announcements. This role combines hands-on retail work with online commerce support.

• Provide on-site support during XMA events, including counting and distributing merchandise
• Ensure stands have supplies and signages
• Communicate with event managers to get tour merchandise contacts

Job description

The Xfinity Mobile Arena is one of the world’s busiest arenas, home of the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Villanova University basketball, family shows and concerts. Since opening in 1996, the arena is the centerpiece of sports and entertainment in the greater Philadelphia region as well as prominently featured in the national spotlight. The 21,000-seat arena is a showcase arena for the company’s industry-leading qualities as an operator and an innovator in the live event experience.

Job Summary

This position will directly report to the Manager, Retail and work on projects related to visual merchandising, buying, and more, while also supporting the entire retail staff on all department operations. In addition, this intern will have a crucial role during game nights and events.

Core Responsibilities

FLYERS/76ERS

• Collaborate in creating visual displays and set ups for stores

XFINITY MOBILE ARENA

• Provide on-site support during XMA events, including but not limited to counting merchandise in, distributing merchandise, counting out merchandise.
• Ensure each stand has all supplies including grid, tables, devices, price signs, and ask for signs.
• Communicate with event managers to get tour merchandise contacts

Compensation

Base Pay: $15.00 Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
