What you'll be doing day to day

Now is an exciting time to join IKEA! Our goal is to become accessible to more Americans by bringing IKEA closer to our customers physically and digitally. Our new Customer Meeting Points (CMPs) are compact locations offering a customer pickup hub, a furniture showroom with design services, and a home furnishing accessories market hall along with the opportunity to enjoy a Swedish bite. The store offering will vary depending on the location.

  • Apply home furnishing expertise to ensure they consistently reflect and strengthen IKEA across all functional media, including room settings, homes, vignettes, and sales support areas.
  • Maintain awareness of the Showroom matrix to ensure a diverse mix of styles, living situations, and price levels that create a dynamic visual tempo and distinct impressions.
  • Leverage visual merchandising expertise to enhance the distinctiveness of the IKEA identity through impactful store layout, compelling range presentations, and vibrant in‑store vitality.
  • Drive business growth by executing the store action plan and collaborating across functions for long‑term success.
  • Apply local insights to create inspiring, affordable presentations that reflect diverse styles and exceed expectations.
  • Prioritize visitor experience by minimizing disruption, maintaining safety, and ensuring strong visual impact while working on the shop floor.
  • Follow established routines and responsibilities, collaborate across functions, act swiftly to seize commercial opportunities, and stay mindful of how actions influence financial outcomes.
  • Ensure quality, efficiency, and cost‑consciousness in range presentations by applying US‑adapted guidelines, global tools, and best practices.
  • Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is strong and embraces the diversity of co‑workers and customers.
Together as a team

Where others see home furnishing products, we see smart solutions to create a better everyday life.
