Job summary

PUMA Group is seeking a visual merchandising professional to support store presentation and drive sales. You will prep, arrange, and optimize product displays according to VM standards, ensuring compelling layouts and consistent branding across the shop floor.

With 3–5 years of coordinating VM experience and a strong customer-service background in apparel/footwear, you will collaborate with store teams, analyze sales data, and manage events and floor sets.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of visual merchandising coordinating experience.
  • Strong experience in customer-service oriented retail (apparel/footwear).
  • Multidisciplinary understanding including design fundamentals for visual presentation and floor sets.
  • Proven ability in project management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high standards of customer experience in-store.
  • Help store achieve/exceed sales, KPIs and profitability through planning and execution.
  • Understand product knowledge and assist customers with substitutes and related products.
  • Conduct pre-sale product preparation and maintain VM standards.
  • Optimize product presentation and create engaging displays.
  • Communicate with VM PNA to ensure timely delivery of retail projects.
  • Coordinate merchandise opportunities with General Manager and Merchandising teams.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports to provide performance insights.
  • Maintain safe, healthy, and compliant working/shopping environment.
  • Handle incoming/outgoing merchandise and manage events with Marketing.
  • Oversee activation zones and the permanent customization area in-store.

YOUR MISSION
  • Provide consistently high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA’s Brand Values and service standards,
  • Responsible for ensuring the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs and profitability goals through the effective use of short- and long-term planning, expense control, sales and service,
  • Product Knowledge: understand the purposes, properties, quality, care, and prices of the products being sold. This includes being able to offer substitute, new, and related products to customers,
  • Conduct full pre-sale preparation of products, arranging and displaying goods according to PUMA VM Standards, and maintaining store presentation and visual merchandising standards,
  • Optimize product presentation, arranging and displaying products in a way that highlights their features and benefits, creating attractive and engaging displays that draw customers' attention and encourage them to make purchases,
  • Effectively communicate with VM PNA in order to ensure Retail projects and initiatives are time managed and critical deliverables are achieved,
  • Manage and communicate merchandise opportunities to General Manager, Merchandising and Allocations teams,
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports, and provide insights to improve performance,
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe, healthy and compliant working and shopping environment,
  • Responsible for handling and processing incoming and outgoing merchandise,
  • Manage/communicate and execute all event opportunities in partnership with the Marketing Manager,
  • Manage and maintain all sports interactive activation zones within the store,
  • Effectively manage all aspects of the permanent customization area within the store to ensure customers receive an outstanding experience,
  • Required to work non-traditional hours; weekends, evenings, holidays;
YOUR TALENT
  • 3 - 5 years of visual merchandising coordinating experience,
  • Strong experience in customer service-oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear),
  • Proven multi-disciplinary understanding including design fundamentals for visual presentation, presentation design, visual merchandising and ability to execute floor sets with an attention to detail,
  • Proven ability in project management,
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to present information to large groups,
  • Ability to learn quickly,
  • Computer skills, basic know-how about MS Office programs, and retail software
  • The ability to constantly walk and move about is required. Use of the following senses is critical to this position: speaking, hearing, near and far acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Ability to lift/carry, push/pull up to 30 pounds regularly.

The base pay for this position is $65,000-$80,000 + Bonus + Benefits
