Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets in Millinocket, ME is seeking an in-store HR Administrative Specialist to provide payroll processing, personnel and training record maintenance, and staff attendance support.

You will act as the in-store expert for SuccessFactors HR and the payroll system, guide associates through self-service, coordinate new hires, benefits enrollment, and ensure confidential handling of all associate information.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll time and attendance processing and payroll matching.
• Handle Workers Compensation and Disability paperwork; file accident investigations.
• Serve as in-store expert for SuccessFactors HR/Learning systems and payroll system.
• Direct associates to self-service, managers, or HR as needed.
• Track attendance, log absences, and review with store leadership.
• Screen job applicants and schedule interviews with the appropriate manager.
• Provide training reports to Department Managers and Store Leadership.
• Ensure background checks are completed for required roles.
• Conduct new hire orientations and set up payroll/HR access for new staff.
• Support benefits enrollment and store-wide HR communications.
