Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Henderson, NV location to provide an excellent shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

The role requires ability to lift 30–50 lbs, strong customer service and communication skills, and the stamina to stand and walk for extended periods. This is a part-time, on-site position in Henderson.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store and restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash, keep areas neat and presentable.
