Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Golf Services Team member in our New York store to perform golf club repairs, including re-gripping and loft/lie adjustments, and to assist with club fitting and performance modifications using specialized equipment.

You will provide product and service recommendations based on customer needs, manage golf service workflow and inventories, keep work orders organized, and uphold company standards for merchandise presentation, safety, and loss prevention while

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
• Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
• The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
• Targeted Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.00.

Performs golf club repairs, including but not limited to, re-gripping, re-shafting, loft and lie adjustments. Performs club fitting and club performance modifications through use of club fitting equipment. Provides product and service recommendations according to customer’s needs. Manages workflow for all customer services including establishing turn-around times to meet customer’s needs. Consistently promotes Company programs including Warranty Sales, Scorecard, Private Label Credit Card, etc. Manages golf service supply inventory by accurately tracking shop usage. Completes, organizes, and stores all customers’ work orders. Provides a high level of customer service within the golf area. Upholds Company standards for merchandise presentation by ensuring that product is on the sales floor to proper inventory levels and is maintained to daily standards. Maintains and participates in all recovery and cleanliness standards. Adheres to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information. Takes an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store. Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
