Job summary

Golf Galaxy is seeking friendly retail teammates to join our Golf Galaxy store. You will help golfers of all levels with product knowledge and personalized service to better their game.

Targeted pay range is $15.00–$22.00 per hour, with a benefits package and opportunities to grow within the Dick's Sporting Goods family. Responsibilities include greeting customers, merchandising, promoting loyalty programs, and upholding safety and loss-prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15–35 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Repetitive motions for up to 2 hours continuously.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their needs to support shopping.
• Follow floor sets and merchandising standards.
• Promote loyalty programs, warranty sales, and private label card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss prevention policies and protect confidentiality of information.
• Create an inclusive store environment for teammates and customers.
• Assist across the store as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Overview

Our store teammates are passionate about creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers through their eagerness to help, in-depth product knowledge, high brand and execution standards, and ability to prioritize.

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
• Promote company programs (e.g., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customer) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Targeted Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
