Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking store teammates to assist customers, maintain floor sets, and promote store programs. You will help with merchandising, price changes, and inventory presentation while delivering a high-quality shopping experience.

The role emphasizes welcoming customers, following safety standards, and supporting teammates to ensure smooth store operations. Prior retail experience is preferred, with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15–35 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards on floor sets and signage.
• Promote programs (loyalty, warranty, private label cards).
• Follow safety, loss prevention and SOP policies.
• Create an inclusive environment where everyone is treated with respect.
• Support the team across the store as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customer) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
