Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Atlanta, GA is seeking a friendly Retail Teammate to greet customers, assess needs, and help create an enjoyable shopping experience.

You will follow merchandising standards, participate in price changes and inventory presentation, and uphold safety policies while supporting the team. Prior retail experience is preferred; ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods is required.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, and inventory presentation.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty, credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
• Support the team across the store as needed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
